Title: Interim External Affairs Manager

Summary:
This is a TEMP opportunity. Our client is a charter school. They are seeking
an interim External Affairs Manager from October to December to develop and
strengthen relationships with key external constituencies in support of
expansion and daily operations. The interim External Affairs Manager will
report directly to the Director of Development. This manager will help
establish and build effective relationships with visitors, parents,
volunteers, and donors.

Responsibilities:
* Preparing Board Meeting agenda, making the packets, setting up the
meetings, and taking the minutes
* Filing
* Proofreading documents
* Answering emails and fielding basic questions
* Coordinating the Visitor Program and Train Student Ambassadors

Qualifications:
* Has exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
* Exhibits initiative and creativity
* Has a strong track record in effective project management
* Welcomes the opportunity to be constantly challenged to grow, learn and
improve
* Welcomes change and is adaptable
* Is a team player
* Is extremely organized and can handle conflicting priorities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

average
